NWS Albuquerque Warns of Storm Hazards, Fire Risk
The National Weather Service in Albuquerque said gusty showers and storms are expected to focus over central and eastern New Mexico on Tuesday.
The agency said the storms may produce damaging wind gusts and large hail, with the highest risk in the eastern plains.
At the same time, the weather service said critical fire weather conditions are increasing the risk of rapid fire spread in western New Mexico.
