Maricopa CC expands bachelor’s degree options

Maricopa Community Colleges said it is expanding access to affordable bachelor’s degrees for students pursuing high-demand career pathways.

The colleges said there are 11 existing bachelor’s degree programs with nearly 10,000 students currently enrolled. It said future programs are designed to address critical workforce needs across Arizona while creating additional pathways to high-demand careers.

Dr. Steven R. Gonzales, Maricopa Community Colleges Chancellor, said the colleges launched 11 bachelor’s degree programs in three years and celebrated graduates from nine of those programs. He added that bachelor’s degrees are now integrated into Maricopa’s offerings and described them as the most affordable option for a bachelor’s degree in Maricopa County.
